Design
Excel Aid can provide a consultant to design a spreadsheet application which will meet your needs from scratch, or, alternatively, take your ideas and move them from concept to reality. The design will be documented and agreed to ensure that the final application meets all your requirements.
Develop
The layout of the workbook, the worksheets, the formulae, the VBA code, and any reference data will be developed based on the documented design. The typical approach is to provide prototype applications which will be tested and shared with you to demonstrate the progress and ensure that the application meets your expectations. Where possible, copies of the live data and file structures will be used in testing. The application can therefore "hit the ground running" as any potential issues will have been identified and addressed in the development and testing.
Implement
When the spreadsheet application has been developed, tested and documented, it will be handed over for "live testing" and roll out to production. On-site hands-on support can be provided, if necessary. Alternatively, the application can be handed over "as is" and remote support provided during the live testing.
Improve
If you have a spreadsheet that "works", but not as well as you would like it to, advice and guidance can be offered and, if required, the spreadsheet can be restructured and improved to address the stated deficiencies.
Enhance
You may have a workbook that works perfectly, as far is it goes, but you'd like to add some bells and whistles. Your requirements will be discussed and documented and the new features will be prototyped and demonstrated to ensure that the enhancements meet your needs and expectations.
Automate
Repetitive and/or labour intensive activities can be automated using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). Whether it is a daily, weekly, monthly, annual or ad -hoc task, this can save hours of time and effort ... and, therefore, money. It can free you up to use your time more productively, spending that extra time with customers, suppliers and staff.
